1984 Hörspiel

Eine knapp 2 stündige Hörspiel-Version von Orwell’s 1984. Mir ist im Moment nicht bekannt wer das wann produziert hat. Ich bin aber auch gerade zu faul dem hinterher zu recherchieren.

Life In A Day:
Life in a Day is a crowdsourced documentary film comprising an arranged series of video clips selected from 80,000 clips submitted to the YouTube video sharing website, the clips showing respective occurrences from around the world on a single day, July 24, 2010.
The film is 94 minutes 57 seconds long and includes scenes selected from 4,500 hours of footage in 80,000 submissions from 192 nations. The completed film debuted at the Sundance Film Festival on January 27, 2011 and the premiere was streamed live on YouTube. On October 31, 2011, YouTube announced that Life in a Day would be available for viewing on its website free of charge, and on DVD.

“Song for Bradley Manning,” is written and performed by David Rovics. Manning had been assigned in October 2009 to a unit of the ten mountain division, based near Baghdad. There he had access to the Secret Internet Protocol Router Network ( SIPRNet) used by the United States government to transmit classified information. He was arrested
after Adrian Lamo, a computer hacker, reported to the FBI that Manning had told him during online
chats in May 2010 that he had downloaded material from SIPRNet and passed it to WikiLeaks. The leaked material is said to have included 250,000 US diplomatic cables including footage of a July 2007 Bagdad airstrike; and footage of the May 2009 Granai airstrike in Afghanistan.

Bradley Manning was initially held in a maximum custody and Marine Corps Brig in Quantico, Virginia, which in effect meant solitary confinement, conditions that Amnesty International has called harsh and punitive.

Hagen Rether – Liebe:
Hagen Rether, 1969 in Bukarest geboren, spielt seit seinem achten Lebensjahr Klavier und stand seit 1996 rund 2000-mal auf der Bühne, meist irgendwo im Ruhrgebiet. Allerdings ist der nonchalante Essener derzeit auf dem besten Weg, seinen Bekanntheitsgrad beträchtlich zu erweitern. Gerade 2004 war ein enorm erfolgreiches Jahr für den Kabarettisten, dessen Erscheinung so sehr an einen gepflegten Bar-Pianisten erinnert: Stuttgarter Besen, Prix Pantheon, Paulaner Solo und sogar das begehrte Scharfrichterbeil konnte er ergattern. Oft reicht ihm ein Satz, wo andere ewig laborieren. Hagen Rether spricht leise und wenig, also wenig verglichen mit anderen Künstlern seiner Branche. Das heißt jedoch nicht, dass er weniger zu sagen hätte, ganz im Gegenteil: Seine Statements sind wie Essigessenz, wirken bei aller Beiläufigkeit und Kürze wie Paukenschläge. Stets würzt er seine Texte mit jazzigen verspielten Klavierakkorden. Das klingt gut und macht auch dramaturgisch Sinn, weil man hin und wieder länger braucht, um seine zuschnappenden, zum Teil bitterbösen Bemerkungen zu verdauen. Denn am liebsten ist Rether richtig gemein, geht verbal dorthin wo es weh tut, um im Anschluss gleich wieder munter und virtuos in die Tasten zu hauen. Das fordert – und ist vor allem erfrischend neu

Einfach alles wegwerfen – ohne schlechtes Gewissen und ohne Abfall zu produzieren. Das ist die Vision von Michael Braungart. Der Umweltchemiker nennt sein Konzept cradle to cradle. Seit 1988 berät er immer mehr Unternehmen, wie Produkte gleich bei ihrer Herstellung so produziert werden, dass sie entweder umweltfreundlich verrotten oder komplett wiederverwertet werden. Das ist mehr als Recycling, das ist eine neue industrielle Revolution.

Teppiche, Möbel, Kleidung, Farben, Kühlschränke, Elektro-Geräte und sogar Fenster sind nach den neuen Herstellungsmethoden in den letzten Jahren entstanden. Michael Braungart ist in der Industrie ein gefragter Berater. Gerade weil dort gesehen wird, wie sehr sich die Rohstoffpreise verteuern und wie groß die Abhängigkeit von Staaten wie China und Indien ist. Sie wollen möglichst viele Rohstoffe, wie z.B. Kupfer wiederverwerten. Bisher verschwindet davon immer noch ein großer Teil in den Müllverbrennungsanlagen.

Und dann müssen sie Zeit und Gebühren verschwenden, um sie wieder zu löschen. Der Rundfunkänderungsstaatsvertrag sieht dies vor. Und daher müssen ARD und ZDF, ihre Archive im Internet verkleinern. Mehr als eine Million Dokumente sind so schon verschwunden, zum Ärger vieler Gebührenzahler. Und die Internet-Nutzer laufen nicht nur Sturm, sie wehren sich. Zapp über die Retter der Archive.
